The Office of the Dean is comprised of faculty leaders and staff who oversee both the academic core and the support structure of the College of Arts & Letters. Led by Kenneth Scheve, the I.A. O’Shaughnessy Dean, the College aspires to be a global leader in scholarship and in the public sphere through a mission and vision focused on advancing knowledge through an integrated approach to research and teaching, fostering individual formation, and contributing to the flourishing of local, national, and global communities.
