-

Location: Geddes Hall Coffee House (View on map )

The Park Hill FoodWorks! project sought to understand the reasons why the Park Hill neighborhood in Denver, one of the city's wealthiest, has some of the highest reates of food insecurity. Learn how a collaborative, community-based project shifted the discussion from "food deserts' to food justice, and the community-based processes involved. John Brett, Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Denver, will present this study.

All are welcome.
