Join us for lunch and a lecture from Darren Dochuk, Associate Professor of History. The talk titled "Petro Wars: The Contested Faiths, Labor, and Corporate Politics of American Oil in the Age of Franklin Roosevelt and the Rockefellers" draws from his current book project, Anointed With Oil: God and Black Gold in America’s Century, a study of the intersection of US religion, politics, and energy.

Lunch is provided to those who RSVP.

Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Geddes Hall Coffee House beginning at 12:20 p.m. to retrieve lunch and find a seat. The program starts promptly at 12:30 and ends right at 1:30 p.m.
