Handel's Messiah

- (part of a series)

Location: Leighton Concert Hall, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center

Each year, on the first weekend of December, the Notre Dame Chorale presents its signature performances of Handel's Messiah. From the majestic orchestral introduction to the rousing arias and choruses to the celebrated "Hallelujah Chorus" that concludes the evening, Handel's famous oratorio continues to enchant audiences worldwide. The Notre Dame Baroque Orchestra, led by concertmaster Daniel Stein, provides a sparkling support for the chorus of 70 singers and the soon-to-be-professional singers of the Sacred Music Program.
