Lecture: The Catholic Martyrs of the War in El Salvador

Kellogg Institute for International Studies presents the Romero Days Lecture: The Catholic Martyrs of the War in El Salvador.

Maureen Doyle of OSU will moderate from 3:30pm to 4:30pm on “The Witness and Legacy of Dorothy Kazel, OSU”. Panelists, all from OSU, will include Martha Owen, Rose Elizabeth Terrell, Roberta Goebel, and
Sheila Marie Tobbe.

Todd Walatka of Notre Dame will moderate from 5-6:30 pm on “The Witness and Legacy of Blessed Archbishop Óscar Romero”. Panelists wil include Margaret Pfeil of Notre Dame, José Inocencio Alas from the Foundation for Sustainability and Peacemaking in Mesoamerica, and Rev. Robert Pelton, C.S.C., Notre Dame, faculty emeritus.

Concluding remarks will be presented by Matt Ashley, Associate Professor and Department Chair of Theology.
