The Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies kicks off its Twentieth Anniversary Speakers and Public Talks Series with a lecture by Patrick McCabe, Irish novelist. McCabe is the author of 13 novels, including The Butcher Boy and Breakfast in Pluto, which have both been made into films. His novel Winterwood won the Hughes & Hughes Irish Novel of the Year (2007) and was shortlisted for the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book of the Decade.
