Nandita Raman will present a gallery talk focusing on her current exhibition Cinema Play House Photographs. Raman’s award-winning suite of 14 large-format black and white photographs of old cinema halls in India built between 1930–1960 explores the physical spaces and their relationship to the aspirations and dreams of those who experienced them.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Nandita Raman’s Cinema Play House photography exhibit will run from September 4, 2011, until December 4, 2011.
