Professor Goehring specializes in medieval philosophy. His essays include “Aquinas on Self-Knowledge and Self-Awareness” and “Henry of Ghent on Human Knowledge and Its Limits.”

Twice each semester, a Medieval Institute faculty member or advanced graduate student presents his or her research for collegial discussion in the Medieval Institute Research Colloquium series.
