The Humanities in Peril: Does Notre Dame Have an Answer?

A Nanovic Flash Panel on the recent trend of colleges and universities eliminating programs in the Humanities. Notre Dame professors Joseph Buttigieg (Ph.D. in Literature), Felipe Fernandez-Armesto (History), Ted Cachey (Romance Languages and Literatures), Peter Holland (Film, Television, and Theatre), and Vittorio Hosle (Institute for Advanced Study) will share their thoughts and opinions.

The event will be moderated by Associate Professor Susannah Monta (English), with closing remarks by Dean John McGreevy (College of Arts and Letters).
