Professor Brady is one of North America’s most distinguished historians of early modern Germany and one of Notre Dame’s most distinguished alumni in the academy (class of ’59). His recent book, German Histories in the Age of Reformations, 1400–1650, synthesizes a lifetime of important scholarship.
