Fifth Annual Liss Lecture in Judaica: "Judaism and the Meaningful Life: Reasoning with Ecclesiastes"

University of Notre Dame's Department of Theology will host the Fifth Annual Liss Lecture in Judaica, entitled "Judaism and the Meaningful Life: Reasoning with Ecclesiastes" on Monday, November 6.

Speakers will include:

The lecture will take place in the Carey Auditorium in Hesburgh Library, with a reception to follow in the Scholars Lounge.

  • Menachem Fisch, Tel Aviv University: Joseph and Ceil Mazer Professor Emeritus of History and Philosophy of Science, and Director of the Center for Religious and Interreligious Studies
  • Alan Mittleman, Jewish Theological Seminary of America: Aaron Rabinowitz and Simon H. Rifkind Professor of Jewish Philosophy
  • Jennie Grillo, University of Notre Dame: Tisch Family Associate Professor in the Department of Theology
