Art History Colloquium: Self Help Graphics at Fifty

This mini-conference brings together a working group of scholars that are part of an edited anthology project aimed at commemorating the fifty-year anniversary of Self Help Graphics. Founded in 1970 in the heart of East Los Angeles, Self Help Graphics (SHG) produces, exhibits, and distributes fine art prints by underrepresented artists. Invited speakers include Theresa Avila, Karen Mary Davalos, JV Decemvirale, Julia Fernandez, Robb Hernandez, Olga Herrera, Mary Thomas, Kency Cornejo, and Claudia Zapata.

The event is organized by the co-editor of the project, Notre Dame Professor Tatiana Reinoza.
