Lalo Alcaraz is a widely recognized and influential voice of Latinos and immigrants in the United States through his political cartoons ("La Cucaracha"), radio show (“Pocho Hour of Power” on KPFK), film consulting (Pixar’s Coco), producing and writing (Bordertown), and co-producing (Half like me). It is important to note that "La Cucaracha" is the first nationally syndicated, politically-themed Latino daily comic strip. Alcaraz also played a significant role in Pixar’s Coco, which was awarded a Golden Globe and Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature Film (2018).

Alcaraz’s political cartoons cover a variety to topics including politics, current events, and iconic fictional figures.

All are welcome.
