Stupid Humans, A New Musical
Music and lyrics by Jorge “Jay” Rivera-Herrans ’20
Performances will be February 21 to March 3, 2019. Actors and singers are encouraged to audition for Stupid Humans, a new pop musical by current Notre Dame student Jorge Rivera-Herrans, directed by the Head of Musical Theatre, Assistant Professor Matt Hawkins. Stupid Humans is the first new musical ever produced through the new ND LAB class, where students are currently workshopping and developing the play in preparation for rehearsals starting in January 2019.
We are seeking 14 actor/singers. Actors of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities, as well as students with disabilities, are encouraged to audition. All majors welcome – auditions not restricted to FTT majors – open to all ND/SMC/HCC students, faculty, and staff.
