Contemporary Writers Series: A Conversation with Gaël Faye

French-Rwandan author and hip-hop artist Gaël Faye will discuss his award-wining novel “Small Country,” a poignant coming-of-age story of his fictional doppelgänger, Gabriel, who is forced to move to France when Burundi and Rwanda are hit by civil war and genocide.

Hosted by the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and moderated by ND professor Alison Rice. A book-signing event will take place prior to the reading, starting at 3:30 p.m. in the Forum of Jenkins and Nanovic Halls.
