David Plunkert, artist and illustrator for The New Yorker, will discuss the creative process of illustrating 19th-century horror classics with a modern sensibility. More specifically, he will discuss his recently published 200th anniversary illustrated edition of Frankenstein. A book signing will take take place in front of Rare Books and Special Collections a half hour before and after the lecture.
