The Fischoff Awards Ceremony and Concert recognizes the achievements of nine ensembles that have successfully competed against 49 chamber music ensembles in five rounds of competition.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to each division along with prizes worth $34,000 and a Midwest Tour for the Senior Division Gold Medal winners. The Grand Prize winner will perform at the 2019 Emilia Romagna Festival in Italy and the Chautauqua Institute in New York.

Once a year, young musicians from across the country and around the world come to South Bend to compete in the nation's largest chamber music competition—and you have a chance to hear them play in a state-of-the-art performance hall. The ensembles will present 105 performances throughout the weekend (schedule), and thirteen Junior Division ensembles will attend masterclasses with world class jurors. Over 5,000 global viewers are expected to watch via live streaming in 55 or more countries. More than 90 volunteers help make this weekend possible. Think of this event as a Mother's Day treat for everyone. Enjoy and support this community treasure that's unique in the nation.

Family friendly, with children 5+ admitted.
