Clayton Childress received his PhD in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2012. In 2010-2011 he was a predoctoral fellow at Copenhagen Business School and the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology. In 2011-2012 he was a visiting instructor at Wesleyan University. In 2012-2013 he was postdoctoral fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Organization and in the Dept. of Sociology at Princeton University.
