Panel Discussion and Exhibition: "Artists in Motion: Illustrations of Perilous Journeys"

The Crossroads Gallery presents "Artists in Motion: Illustrations of Perilous Journeys" featuring paintings by Eritrean refugees living in the Ethiopian Mai Aini refugee camp. In addition to the paintings, there are also photographs of the artists and community members.

A public panel discussion by Dr. Rahul Oka, Dr.  Drea Howenstein, Ed Grode, and Angela Wells about the project, human rights issues, and the JRS service will be held at the public reception on Tuesday. Light refreshments will be served.  The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

This exhibition is organized by the Jesuit Refugee Service with support from the Crossroads Gallery, Notre Dame Center for Arts & Culture and the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, University of Notre Dame.
