Organ Recital: Douglas Reed

Douglas Reed, visiting/adjunct professor of organ at Notre Dame (2016-17), will perform music by Olivier Messiaen, Johannes Brahms, and William Albright (De Spiritum, 1980). Reed is a professor emeritus of music and university organist emeritus at the University of Evansville. He also served as an adjunct professor of organ at Indiana University (2015-16).

Eric Reed, horn, will join his father to perform compositions by Robert Schumann, Naji Hakim, and William Albright (Romance, 1981). A former member of the Canadian Brass, he now performs with the American Brass Quintet, in residence at the Juilliard School of Music.
