The Department of Classics, the Program of Arabic Language and Culture, and the Arabic Club welcome Christina Tobias-Nahi. Tobias-Nahi is a current member of the Joint Council on International Children’s Services and former director of Islamic Relief USA.
Dinner will be provided and the film Crossing Borders will be shown, followed by a cross-cultural panel discussion. Panelists include Catherine Perry of French and Francophone Studies; Islam Allosh of the Program of Arabic Language and Culture; Salma Ishak, current Fulbright Scholar at St. Mary’s College; and members of the Arabic Club.
