Professor Moevs’s lecture is the second in a series of seven that comprise a mini-course designed for students preparing to spend a semester or a year abroad in one of Notre Dame’s international study programs in Rome or Bologna. The lectures, delivered by scholars in Italian Studies, provide introductions to cultural and historical aspects of Italian society; they are free and open to the public.
