Under Pressure: Defeating the In-Class Essay Exam

Do you enjoy writing essays under pressure, in a crowded classroom, before the watchful eye of your professor, as the clock ticks loudly in your ear and scattered thoughts whirl in your mind? Probably not. Writing is difficult. Writing an essay is laborious. Writing an essay exam can be excruciating. But certain strategies can ease the pain.

The presenter of this workshop will discuss writing strategies that you may use during in-class essay exams to relieve some of the pressure and channel your scattered thoughts into organized arguments.
