Graduate Student Conference: Kant and the Exact Sciences

Location: McKenna Hall

The conference will run from September 23, 2011, until September 24, 2011. The first day of the conference will be dedicated to Kant’s philosophy of logic and mathematics, while the second day will be dedicated to Kant’s philosophy of physics. Participating faculty from the Department of Philosophy, University of Notre Dame, include: * Karl Ameriks, The McMahon-Hank Chair in Philosophy, * Katherine Brading, William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Collegiate Professor of Philosophy, * Curtis Franks, assistant professor of philosophy, * Don Howard, director, History and Philosophy of Science, and * Patricia Blanchette, associate professor of philosophy.
