Richard Montoya, playwright and storyteller
Montoya has emerged as a citizen playwright with a Chicano world view who possesses the vision of a restless storyteller committed to telling true stories of real people locked in the margins and border regions of America. He is obsessed with the always-evolving essential American character that has historically celebrated our commonalities by bridging cultures, audiences, disciplines, and borders.
A reception will precede the lecture at 5:00 p.m. in the Hesburgh Center.
