Back by popular demand! Witness Galileo Galilei’s pursuit of intellectual integrity and spiritual salvation in this one-man dramatic adaptation of the BBC documentary “Days that Shook the World.” Written and directed by Nic Young and starring visiting artist and AFTLS associate director Tim Hardy, GALILEO is a fascinating look into the controversial heresy trial that changed the heavens — and Earth — forever.

Tim Hardy trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). His London theatre credits include Henry V and Marat/Sade (Royal Shakespeare Company and Broadway, with film), Henry IV and Henry V (Prospect Theatre and the Roundhouse), Mary Barnes (Royal Court), Melon (Haymarket), Lysistrata (Sir Peter Hall Company at the Old Vic), and Mephisto (The Roundhouse). Regional theatre credits include the title roles in Macbeth and The Norman Conquests (Oxford Playhouse), Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Newcastle Festival), roles in Rosmersholm and Tartuffe (Bristol Old Vic), and The Merchant of Venice and Catch 22 (Leeds Playhouse). Tim has been on the faculty of RADA since 1995, where he directs modern texts and Shakespeare, lectures, teaches, and sits on the admissions panel.
