This year the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs offered the inaugural ND Postdoc Spotlight: Showcasing Postdoctoral Scholarship competition.
In this competition, scholars have three minutes to present their research in a language that is publicly accessible within a 3-minute timeframe, and their presentations are judged (aka, 3MT Competition). Each of the Colleges held preliminary competitions with the three winners advancing to the final competition.
For the finals, a $1,500 professional development award was given for each of the following categories:
- Overall Excellence in Research Communication
- Outstanding Public Engagement through Research Communication
- Outstanding Creativity in Research Communication
- Community Choice Award for Excellence in Research Communication
