Intercessory Prayer: Catholic and Mennonite Perspectives - A Colloquium

Scholars from the Mennonite and Catholic traditions will engage in discussion of the historical context and contemporary liturgical practices around intercessory prayer. Informed engagement among participants will follow formal presentations, with the goal of advancing ecumenical dialogue through rigorous theological exploration.

Speakers will include John Cavadini, McGrath-Cavadini Director, Institute for Church Life at Notre Dame, Kimberly Belcher, Assistant Professor of Liturgical Studies at Notre Dame, Marlene Kropf, Professor Emerita of Formation and Worship from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and Karl Koop, Professor of History and Theology at Canadian Mennonite University.
