Following the screening of all five Oscar Nominated Live Action Shorts, join us for a panel discussion exploring Nazrin Choudury's Red, White and Blue, featuring the film's editor and co-producer, Phil McLaughlin.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Christine Becker (Film, Television, and Theatre), and panelists will include Phil McLaughlin (Editor and Co-Producer, Red, White and Blue), George Sikharulidze (Film, Television, and Theatre), and Dr. Pam Butler (Gender Studies).
Red, White and Blue, written and directed by Nazrin Choudhury, won the grand prize at the Edmonton International Film Festival, and is currenlty nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Live Action Short Film category at the upcoming 96th Academy Awards on March 10, 2024.
