Do you care about social and environmental Justice? Do you want to live in intentional community and be a part of something bigger? Do you want to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest? Come engage in a year of service with JVC Northwest (link is external)!
JVC Northwest responds to community needs in the Pacific Northwest by serving with local partner agencies. As a Jesuit-affiliated volunteer program, JVC Northwest provides opportunities for formation and personal growth in community, social and ecological justice, simple living, and spirituality/reflection, as well as extensive support through retreats (including two BIPOC-only retreats!), dedicated program staff, and other local support.
As a Jesuit Volunteer (JV), you’ll receive career and skill-building opportunities in rewarding fields while living in close community with other JVs. In addition to room and board accommodations, you’ll receive an AmeriCorps education award upon completion of $6,345 to use for prior loans or further study. As a JV, you’ll also receive a monthly stipend along with an emergency fund and basic medical insurance.
Find out how you can become a JV by attending Notre Dame’s virtual career fair with JVC Northwest on Tuesday, February 16 from 4-8p.m. EST. Sign up on Handshake or visit jvcnorthwest.org/join (link is external) to learn more about the program.
