Lecture: "Notre Dame Goes Greener: An Energy Infrastructure Update"

Paul Kempf, Senior Director of Utilities and Maintenance at the University of Notre Dame, is a 1980 graduate of Notre Dame’s College of Engineering and has worked for Notre Dame Utilities for 30 years. He is responsible for heating and air conditioning, electricity, and water supply on campus as well as energy conservation and maintenance of campus utility systems. In the last 10 years, he has overseen the investment of over $10 million in energy conservation. Mr. Kempf is a key participant in the University’s Comprehensive Sustainability Strategy and serves on the sustainability strategy standing committee and several working groups.
