Professor Hall Gardner, Chair of the International and Comparative Politics Department at the American University of Paris, will discuss how the Russia-Ukraine conflict has generated geopolitical and military tensions throughout eastern Europe. He will raise the question as to whether it is possible to reach a US-NATO-European rapprochement with Moscow so as to avert a renewed, and more dangerous, arms race.
Sponsored by the Notre Dame International Security Center and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies.
