Lecture: "Citizenship in a Global Age: Personal Reflections on a Political Conundrum"

-

Location: Jordan Auditorium, Mendoza College of Business (View on map )

Plan to attend this lecture with Dr. Horst Koehler, former President of the German Federal Republic and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The world is in crisis mode. Be it climate change, international terrorism, migration or the world economy: The ever-growing economic, political and ecological interdependence makes simple solutions by single countries ever more elusive. Drawing on his broad experience as head of international institutions, as President of Germany and as a still-active citizen, Horst Koehler will reflect on these issues in a personal manner while trying to draw some conclusions for contemporary politics.

Sponsored by the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Studies and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies.
