ScreenPeace Film Festival 2013: "How to Start a Revolution"

This year’s ScreenPeace Film Festival presents five critically acclaimed films that revolve around the theme of nonviolent resistance.

All films are free, but ticketed.

How to Start a Revolution (2011)

This documentary by Ruaridh Arrow focuses on Gene Sharp, a leading scholar on nonviolent resistance, whose approach has shaped movements in Egypt, Tunisia, Iran, Serbia, Venezuela, Burma, and elsewhere.

An introduction to the film and post-screening discussion will be led by David Cortright, director of policy studies at the Kroc Institute.
