Susan Blackwell Ramsey received her B.A. in English from Kalamazoo College and her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Notre Dame, though 36 years passed in between. She has been included in a range of anthologies, including Best American Poetry 2009, has published in such journals as the Southern Review and Indiana Review, and her collection A Mind Like This won the Prairie Schooner Poetry Book Prize in 2011.
