Abel Barrera Hernández, 2010 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award laureate

Mr. Barrera is the founder and director of the Tlachinollan Human Rights Center of the Montañaor and has received the award for his work on human rights and justice issues for the indigenous people of his home state of Guerrero, Mexico. The award, established in 1984 is to honor courageous and innovative individuals striving for social justice throughout the world.
