First year DMA student Joe Balistreri will perform “Two by Two”, a recital of historic German, Italian, and Dutch organ music. Listeners will experience thematically-curated pairs of works by Jan Pieterzoon Sweelinck, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Dietrich Buxtehude. Balistreri will perform much of the music using historical paired fingerings on the two-manual 2004 Fritts organ in Reyes Organ and Choral Hall.
