On March 22, 2023, Judge Kevin C. Newsom will be giving a lecture at the Notre Dame Law School. Judge Newsom is a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He was appointed on August 2, 2017 and sits in Birmingham, Alabama.
Before his appointment, Judge Newsom served as the Solicitor General of Alabama. After his time in that role, he headed the appellate practice group at the firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. As a practicing lawyer, Judge Newsom argued four cases in the Supreme Court of the United States.
