Foreign Language Week: Singt!, Cantate!, ¡Cantad!, Cantare!, Chantez!, Póytye! ND Chorale Performs Songs in Nine Languages

-

Location: LaBar Performance Hall (View on map )

For singers, the sound of a foreign language becomes part of the musical experience. Singing helps one internalize unfamiliar
pronunciation as well as the meaning of words and serves as a gateway for those who may be drawn to further study. The
Notre Dame Chorale performs songs in nine languages (Irish, Latin, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Aramaic, Russian, and Old Church Slavonic), in a brief concert for Notre Dame's second Foreign Language Week.

This concert is free and open to the public!
