Film Premiere: "And There is Nothing New Under the Sun"

-

Location: Notre Dame Stadium (View on map )

The School of Architecture is proud to announce the premiere of a film highlighting the work of Ong-ard Satrabhandhu, the winner of the 2020 Richard H. Driehaus Prize at the University of Notre Dame.

The film is by William Donaruma, Department of Film, Television, and Theatre, and KC Frye, Associate Creative Director at the Office of Digital Learning, and is a project of ND Learning

Satrabhandhu is an architect from Thailand who has devoted his career to exploring what dialogue with history means in architecture and urbanism. His work is imbued with a sense of tranquility - a much needed respite this year. No knowledge of architecture is needed to appreciate this calming look at Thailand.

Seating will be on the field and students can sit in groups of up to 10 people. The gate opens at 7:30 and the premiere begins at 8:00 pm. Pre-registration is required and you will need to show your "Green Pass" on your phone when you check in for the event.

Co-sponsored by the Notre Dame chapters of the American Institute of Architecture Students and the National Organization of Minority Architects Students.
