Building an Anti-Racist Vocabulary
Join the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights as Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, director of the Michigan State University and Hurley Children’s Hospital Pediatric Public Health Initiative, explores the racial dimensions of the Flint water crisis. She is the author of What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resilience, and Hope in an American City, the story of how she used science to prove Flint kids were exposed to lead, and how she courageously went public with her research and faced a brutal backlash.
Building an Anti-Racist Vocabulary is a weekly lecture series presenting preeminent scholars, thought leaders, and public intellectuals to guide our community through topics necessary to a deeper understanding of systemic racism and racial justice.
Lectures are available to the Notre Dame community via Zoom. Registration with a valid nd.edu or alumni.nd.edu is required.
