Kellogg Institute for International Studies welcomes development economist Bruce Wydick.

Many are eager to know how they can engage in a meaningful and effective relationship with the global poor.  What are the most effective poverty interventions and roles we can play in helping to foster human dignity and human flourishing among the global poor?  Wydick, professor of economics at the University of San Francisco and distinguished research affiliate at the Kellogg Institute, will discuss the Effective Altruism movement and other ideas from his forthcoming book Shrewd Samaritan: Faith, Economics, and the Road to Loving our Global Neighbor (Harper Collins).

All are welcome.
