A three-day international conference exploring the impact brief medieval Norse settlements have had on cultural imagination in and of the Americas - in novels, poetry, history, politics, arts and crafts, comics, films, and video games.
Sessions are open to the public. Pre-registration by audience attendees is requested. The home page of Notre Dame Conference registrations may be found here if you have difficulty with the direct registration link.
The conference is made possible with the assistance of a Faculty Research Program - Initiation Grant, the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, the Notre Dame College of Arts and Letters, the Henkels Lecture Series, the Medieval Institute, the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, and the Department of English.
