Location: Mary Loretto & Terrence J. Dillon Courtyard
Snite Museum of Art
(View on map )

Enjoy a free jazz concert in the Mary Loretto & Terrence J. Dillon Courtyard. The Brad Linde Team Players features Brad Linde (saxophones, clarinet, and organ), Billy Wolfe (tenor saxophone, clarinet, and oboe), Aaron Quinn (guitar), and Deric Dickens (drums).

A leader in the DC jazz scene, saxophonist, clarinetist and organist Brad Linde leads his quartet Team Players. Their music includes original compositions and improvisations in addition to the music of Thelonious Monk and Albert Ayler. Brad says his collection celebrates “things as American as apple pie: jazz, baseball, freedom, trains, etc.”  Brad Linde is the founder and director of the acclaimed Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra, and an artist in residence at the Atlas Performing arts Center. The Team Players are currently touring the county with Kat’s Noise Emporium and XD4 who will open for them during this 3rd Thursdays program.

Bring your own blanket or lawn chair.  We’ll provide fresh popcorn, the atmosphere, and some amazing jazz.  Picnicking encouraged. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.

3rd Thursdays @ the Snite are free, open to all, include refreshments, and are a great way to connect with art in new ways.  Museum galleries will also be open that evening.

Free shuttle (4:45-7:45 p.m.) from the Bulla Road Lot to the Museum or park free in lots south of Stadium and walk to Museum.

Series curated by Stephen and Mary Merriman of Merrimans’ Playhouse.
