Martha Gonzalez, assistant professor in Chicana/o Latina/o Studies at Scripps/Claremont College and leader of the Grammy Award-winning Chicano band Quetzal, will present this lecture. Gonzalez will explore efforts involving two of Quetzal’s songs; “Estoy Aqui” and “Coyote Hustle.”
This lecture precedes the band Quetzal’s performance at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on Friday, September 22nd at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at performingarts.nd.edu.
