Summer Leadership Seminar on Science, Ethics, and Responsibility will take place from July 16 to July 26, 2017. Co-directors are Don Howard, Professor in Philosophy, and Jessica Baron, Outreach and Communications Coordinator for the Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values, Director for Media and Engagement for the History of Science Society, and Concurrent Assistant Professor of History.
Participants in this leadership seminar will hear from experts on new technologies as well as on the moral, religious, and philosophical foundations of these innovations. The goal is to help students form a thoughtful appraisal of the impact of these technologies on society and human experience.
