Ruth Ben-Ghiat is Professor of History and Italian Studies at New York University and a cultural critic who has been the recipient of Guggenheim, Fulbright, and other fellowships. She writes and speaks frequently on fascism, war, Donald Trump, and the politics of images. Her latest book is the award-winning Italian Fascism’s Empire Cinema (Indiana, 2015). Ben-Ghiat also writes frequently for the media. She covered the 2016 Presidential election for, and continues to write about Trump’s America.
