Catholic Relief Services in Mindanao, the southern archipelago in the Philippines, has demonstrated the power of participatory governance in reducing violent conflict by improving development planning, delivery of basic services, and civic participation. With strategic engagement with diverse partners, this approach has increased both particpation in governance for marginalized groups and measureable outcomes on which the government can build.

The Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and the Keough School of Global Affairs welcomes Orson Sargado, Head of Office of CRS-Philippines and CRS Fellow, Kroc Institute.

All are welcome.
