Technology Workshop on Google Drive: Applications to Drive Your Classroom

-

Location: 329 DeBartolo Hall

This workshop will explore the many facets of Google Drive and its application to teaching and language learning. This type of platform is a great resource for instructors looking for ways to better connect with their students as well as provide them with additional tools and materials to both facilitate and enhance the learning process. The following applications will be introduced and presented with concrete examples of how to integrate them in the classroom: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Forms.

A candidate for the CSLC Educational Technologist position, Julie Le Goulven, will host this workshop. The CSLC Educational Technologist will work closely with faculty: offering one-on-one tech consultations, giving faculty workshops on new technologies, and organizing visiting lectures on language technology.

The CSLC will also be hosting an informal lunch for any interested faculty to meet with Julie on Tuesday, November 8th at 12:30pm (immediately after the workshop). If you are interested in joining Julie for lunch, please email Denise Ayo, dayo@nd.edu. Lunch will be on a first come, first serve basis.
