The Department of History welcomes Jadwiga Biskupska from Sam Houston State University. Biskupska is an assistant professor of history. She specializes in war and violence in modern central and eastern Europe and is completing a book manuscript on the fate of the Polish intelligentsia in Nazi-occupied Warsaw.
